Hello everyone! Clement from Westcoast here.
Most of us often remember having cereal as kids for breakfast. Cereal and milk is still an option for many people today who want a quick breakfast that is easy to make and will give you enough energy to start the day. Many kinds of cereals exist, and many people still enjoy them as a light snack as well as breakfast. For those who enjoy their cereal, there will be a chance to spend time in a pop-up cereal bar in Vancouver for two days this weekend!
For the first weekend in October, both Saturday and Sunday, there will be a cereal bar open in Gastown. Visitors will be able to enjoy bowls of cereal and regular milk for $5, as well as substitute regular milk for almond, soy or chocolate milk for an extra 75 cents, and 50 cents for additional toppings like sprinkles or chocolate chips.
For me, cereal will always be a reminder of my childhood, and is still something I enjoy on occasion early in the morning. This is not only true for me, but likely for many other Canadians as well as people from other cultures who will enjoy this mix of domestic and international cereals. I will definitely be trying to make time to go if I have the chance!
