Hello everyone! This is Clement.
Halloween is approaching, and there are many great ways and fun events to celebrate here in Vancouver. The most famous of these is the Stanley Park’s Ghost Train event, happening from now until October 31st.
Stanley Park is one of the most highly ranked national parks in the world. For all major holidays in Vancouver, the park is decorated to suit the occasion, and Halloween is no different. Every year, part of Stanley Park is transformed into a fun filled, spooky location for people of all ages as well as families. This year, the ghost train will return with a theme based on a holiday known as the day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos in Spanish. Riders of the train will get to hear stories and see actors dresssed up and acting as spirits and ghosts from traditional Mexican culture. Visitors will be able to enjoy entertainment from a Mariachi band, a type of traditional Mexican musical style, as well as live performances. The day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican check out this Vancouver tradition!
